We are a non-profit charity who provides the community service of equal access to toys, run by a committee of volunteers and a part-time Kaitiaki. The library is funded through annual membership subscriptions, toy rental fees, grants, and income from fundraising.
A strong, dedicated, and enthusiastic team is essential to the effective running of any toy library we have been blessed with the strength, abilities, knowledge and sheer determination of our committee and volunteer members, and are always on the lookout for more people to help us out - many hands make light work.
Carissa - ETLKaitiaki - Kaitiaki (Maori) for Caretaker - Carissa is the caretaker of our library, she goes above and beyond the role of librarian (helping the committee with essential work) and she's doing a wonderful job!
Blair - Head Volunteer - Blair is a true Super-Hero, he is reliable, resourceful, and his commitment to the library is truly appreciated, often you see him when we are open but he also pops in to do the odd job for us!
In the Background our Board provides guidance and oversight into the running of our Charity.
